Schools Visits
I throughly enjoy going into primary schools and talking to the children. I explain how I first got interested in writing fantasy stories and as a child myself, loved nothing more than getting lost in a different world.
I also talk about how I started planning and creating, Darkmoor, and show the children my map of Darkmoor and a picture board which I have created to help picture my story whilst writing. I bring with me several copies for the children to look at and discuss.
If the children would like the opportunity to win a signed copy, I run two competitions alongside my visit. One for 'The Best Story' and the other for 'The Best Front Cover', both of which are important when publishing a book. This is completely optional, as I know school can be a very busy place!

Each school will be given a signed copy of Darkmoor for their library, and the children will be given the chance to purchase their own signed copy on the day of my visit.
